Hill Country views will be a highlight of The Overlook Club at Sweetwater
Located where Austin meets the Hill Country, Sweetwater devotes more than 700 acres – roughly half of its overall acreage – to recreation and natural open space, preserving rugged canyons, high ridges, and water features such as creeks and waterfalls for all residents to enjoy.
This summer, some of Sweetwater’s most spectacular Hill Country views will take front and center at
The Overlook Club, perched on the edge of a ridge that drops down to Bee Creek and offers stunning long views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Featuring traditional Hill Country architecture, The Overlook Club has been carefully designed and positioned so that residents can enjoy the spectacular views to the maximum. A spacious covered porch will wrap around three sides of this amenity, and the clubhouse will feature a wall of windows across the back for unobstructed views.
The clubhouse is envisioned as a relaxed gathering space, with contemporary Hill Country style furnishings and rooms where residents can watch games on TV, play card and board games, and host cookouts and other occasions.
There are also plans to add access from The Overlook Club to Sweetwater’s popular trail system, to provide closer views of Bee Creek.
Swimming will also be a big attraction at The Overlook Club, with two pools sharing the Hill Country views. The upper level pool is for fun and lounging, and the lower pool will have lap lanes. An additional lounge area next to the lower pool will have shade structures and views of Bee Creek and the Hill Country.
The Overlook Club will be located next to the community’s newest village, Madrone Ridge, which will open in 2019 with patio homes designed to appeal to homebuyers a low-maintenance home and lifestyle.
When it opens in the summer of 2019, The Overlook Club at Sweetwater will join the 10-acre Sweetwater Club as Sweetwater’s second major community center amenity.
