Meet the new principal of Lake Travis ISD’s Rough Hollow Elementary
When our youngest students return to our highly regarded Lake Travis ISD schools in August, they’ll be welcomed by a new principal at Rough Hollow Elementary, recipient of a Best Elementary Schools award from U.S. News.
Some students and parents have already had the opportunity to meet with Principal Angela Page (right) at a recent “Popsicles with the Principal” social.
Ms. Page is new to both Lake Travis ISD and her leadership role at Rough Hollow. She comes to the district with 25 years of experience as a teacher and school administrator, having served various roles in Missouri and Texas.
Most recently, she was assistant principal at Double File Trail Elementary School in Round Rock ISD, a position she held since 2018.
Ms. Page earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. She later completed a Master of Science degree in elementary education from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.
She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree at Baylor University.
Throughout her career, Ms. Page has led numerous initiatives to empower students, enhance academic enrichment programs, and promote a culture of continuous improvement, according to Paul Norton, superintendent of schools for Lake Travis ISD.
“I have every confidence that she will continue to build upon the great tradition that defines our beloved Rattler family,” he said. “Please join me in welcoming Ms. Page to the Lake Travis ISD family.”
