Doggie shower makes Chesmar’s Ryder model Fido-friendly
With plenty of canyons and creeks to explore along the miles of trails in Sweetwater, your four-legged friend might come home from your adventures in need of a bath. Good thing a growing number of Sweetwater homebuilders are including dog-friendly features in their new home plans.
The latest example is the convenient doggie shower in Chesmar’s Ryder model home, recently opened in the Stone Creek neighborhood.
Conveniently located in the oversized utility room, this doggie shower makes it easy to give Fido a quick rinse, or at least a paw wash, in an area with easy-to-clean hard surface flooring.
Dog-friendly features are in high demand from today’s homebuyers, especially Millennials. In a recent survey by SunTrust mortgage, 33 percent of homebuyers between the ages of 18 and 36 said they considered dog-friendly features such as a fenced yard and dog shower as a “huge factor” in buying their first home.
Along with fenced yards, Stone Creek offers homesites with views of the more than 700 acres of parks, trails and natural open space in Sweetwater. Some homesites are right on the trail system, so you and your dog can have immediate access to your daily adventure.
