Save the date – April 14 – for the Sweetwater Wildflower Festival
The 5th annual Sweetwater Wildflower Festival takes place on Saturday, April 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and everyone’s invited to come out and enjoy this free, family friendly event.
There’ll be live music from the Bottom Dollar String Band and the Peterson Brothers. Food trucks will include Best Wurst, TX Chili Queens, It’s All Good BBQ, Kona Ice and more tasty purveyors of Hill Country fare.
Activities for kids of all ages will include a rock climbing wall, bounce houses, an obstacle course, a giant slide and a life-sized Connect 4 game.
Crafts will include making Wildflower Seed Balls, so guests can take a little bit of Sweetwater’s natural beauty home with them.
Sweetwater’s leading homebuilders will also sponsor fun activities, including face painting, balloon artistry and much more.
The market area will showcase local Hill Country artisans and businesses, including Sweetwater partners such as Round Rock Honey and the Children in Nature Collaborative of Austin.
Proceeds from the Wildflower Festival will benefit Austin Pets Alive!, which operates comprehensive, innovative programs designed to save the animals most at risk for euthanasia.
The festival will also feature giveaways for Sweetwater guests, with details to be announced.
