Discover these smart home tech trends for 2018
The biggest and most important showcase for the United States’ $292 billion consumer technology industry, the annual CES Show has been a proving ground for innovators and breakthrough technologies for 50 years.
With the 2018 show just wrapped up in Las Vegas, here’s a quick look at some “best in show” technologies for the home. Don’t be surprised if someday soon they make their way into a home near you.
Combined ovens for heating and rapid cooling, window washing robots and a Starry Night projector are among the standouts in home appliances.
Honorees in the home audio-video category include gorgeous sculpted high-performance speakers, an old-is-new-again turntable, an 85” HDTV and more.
For health and fitness, standout entries included diabetic socks, a bug bite neutralizer, a high-tech baby monitor and Samsung’s Gear Sport watch.
In the smart home category, honorees included a beauty platform with a smart mirror and cosmetics storage, an AI Active Ion Air Purifier, and a revolutionary floodlight camera.
