Travel & Leisure includes Austin in new World’s Best list
Readers of Travel + Leisure have voted Austin as one of the Top 15 cities to visit in the United States, as part of the magazine’s annual World’s Best rankings.
That’s great news for Sweetwater, because residents of our Austin and Hill Country area master-planned community get to enjoy Austin’s charms all year long.
Austin takes its rightful place up with other great U.S. cities such as New York and San Francisco. Despite the diversity of the Top 15 cities, T+L says they share a similar spirit.
“They seduce us with their charisma and friendliness. They endeavor to preserve their rich histories. They offer restful green spaces, a wealth of cultural institutions, and innovative restaurants that aim to satisfy the most adventurous palates,” T+L writes.
In this year’s T+L tallies, Austin comes in at No. 13, with a score of 80.93.
