Niche ranks Lake Travis ISD as Austin’s No. 2 Best School District
Niche.com has just released its 2018 Best School Districts in Texas rankings, and the report includes good news for the Lake Travis Independent School District serving Sweetwater.
Niche ranks Lake Travis ISD as the No. 2 Best School District in the Austin region. Statewide, Lake Travis ISD ranks No. 9, putting it in the top 1% of the roughly 1,000 public school districts in Texas.
Niche gave Lake Travis ISD an overall rating of A+, with additional A+ ratings in the Academics, Teachers, Clubs & Activities, College Prep, and Health & Safety categories.
Niche also ranks Lake Travis ISD as the No. 1 Safest School District in Texas, and as the No. 2 District with the Best Teachers in Texas.
The Lake Travis ISD campuses serving Sweetwater also excelled in the 2018 Niche rankings.
Lake Travis High School ranks No. 6 among Austin area public high schools, with an overall A+ rating and A+ ratings in the Academics, College Prep and Health & Safety categories.
Lake Travis High School also gets A ratings from Niche in the Teachers and Clubs & Activities categories.
Lake Travis Middle School has an overall A+ rating from Niche, with A+ ratings in the Academics and Teachers categories.
Lake Travis Middle School ranks No. 1 in the Austin area on Niche’s list of Best Public Middle School Teachers in Texas.
West Cypress Hills Elementary has an overall A rating from Niche, with A ratings in the Academics and Teachers categories.
