Lake Travis ISD ranks as No. 2 Best School District in Austin for 2019
Niche has released its 2019 school rankings, and the Lake Travis Independent School District serving Sweetwater again ranks as the No. 2 Best School District in the Austin metro area.
Based on its rigorous analysis of key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education, and reviews from students and parents, Niche gives Lake Travis ISD an overall grade of A+, with additional A+ ratings for Academics, College Prep and Clubs & Activities. The district also earned A ratings for Teachers and Health & Safety.
Lake Travis ISD also ranks No.2 in Niche’s Austin rankings for the Best School School Districts for Athletes, and No. 2 in Districts with the Best Teachers. It ranks No. 3 among the Safest School Districts in the Austin area.
The Lake Travis ISD campuses serving Sweetwater are also highly rated.
With an overall rating of A+, Lake Travis High School ranks No. 7 among the Best Public High Schools in the Austin Area.
Lake Travis Middle School ranks No. 6 among the Best Public Middle Schools in the Austin Area, with an overall rating of A+.
West Cypress Hill Elementary School has an overall Niche grade of A, with additional A ratings for Academics and Teachers.
