Explore our trails: Canyon Trail
One of the longest segments of Sweetwater’s Hill Country trail system, Canyon Trail is also one of the most scenic.
This 1.19-mile trail traverses some of the most rugged and beautiful terrain in Sweetwater, traversing canyons and ridges as it meanders past waterfalls, creek crossings, natural features and scenic overlooks.
Canyon Trail includes several stretches of challenging terrain, with several bench seating areas along the way to rest and enjoy the views.
Roughly shaped like a horseshoe, Canyon Trail has access points to three other Sweetwater trails, including Maidenhair Trail, Limestone Falls Trail and Sunset Trail.
Trails are part of the 700+ acres Sweetwater devotes to recreation and natural open space, including the flagship Sweetwater Club, and the Overlook Club, opening later this year.
