WCHE’s motto is PAWS - Practice safety, Act responsibly, Work hard and Show respect. Tully the Tiger is the school mascot. West Cypress Hills Elementary currently enrolls 676 students from Kindergarten through Grade 5.

FIRST CLASS LEARNING

The families of Sweetwater are assigned to three outstanding schools: West Cypress Elementary School, Lake Travis Middle School, and Lake Travis High School. Children at Risk has released its annual school rankings for 2017, and all of the Lake Travis Independent School District schools serving Sweetwater have received grades of A or better. Niche.com, a national educational review website, gives Lake Travis ISD an overall district grade of A+.  Niche also ranks Lake Travis ISD as No. 10 among more than 1,000 school districts in Texas.

FIRST CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP SPORTS

Speaking of sports, the Cavaliers won the District 15-5A title in 2013 and the first Class 6A Title in the school's history in 2016. Lake Travis High also won the Texas football championship in division 4A an unprecedented five years in a row from 2007 to 2011.
