Jennifer Tate and Kevin Gilligan happily traded the stars of L.A. for the real stars twinkling above Sweetwater, finding a new home they could have never afforded in California. They’ve also found new careers, and a backyard for their dog, Lady.
Shannon and Tyler Mangin moved to Sweetwater in 2014, making them two of our earliest residents. If you’ve ever planted a tree, you might enjoy the story of how Sweetwater’s 33-foot-tall Red Oak tree was installed in its new home atop Hilltop Park. The process was so painstaking, it won an award from the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association.
